Old Capital Golf Club offers many different catering options for your special occasion. We specialize in wedding receptions, rehearsal dinners, private parties, class reunions, corporate meetings and events, and family outings.

General Catering Information

  • Food, Beverage & Menu Selection In order to assure the best possible service, your menu selections should be submitted to the Catering Manager two weeks prior to the function date. No food or beverage of any kind will be permitted to be brought into the Club or taken out of the Club by the patron or any of the patron’s guests or invitees. We reserve the right to substitute any food if your attendance is more than the guaranteed number. You will be asked to sign a function contract stating that you are in agreement with the set up, pricing, and arrangements. This contract must be returned to the Catering Manager two weeks prior to the function.
  • Alcohol Policy If alcoholic beverages are to be served on the Club’s premises, the Club will require that only Club Staff dispense beverages. No alcoholic beverages may be taken off the premises. The alcoholic beverage license requires the Club to request proper identification (photo ID) of any person of questionable age and refuse alcoholic beverage service if the person is either underage or proper identification cannot be produced. If anyone under the age of 21 is caught drinking or if any person is found with alcohol not purchased from Old Capital, they will be asked to leave. Furthermore, the Club must refuse alcoholic beverage service to any person who, in the Club’s judgment, appears intoxicated.
  • Service Charges, Pricing, and Taxes A customary service charge of 18% applies to all food and beverage purchases. Applicable 7% Sales Tax will be added to the event check. A deposit is required in order to hold your requested date. Your function will not be put on the calendar until your deposit has been received. The balance must be paid in full 7 days prior to your function. If you cancel your function less than one month prior, you forfeit the deposit.
  • Security The Club will not assume any responsibility for damages or loss to any merchandise or articles left or sent into the Club prior to, during or following your banquet or meeting. Arrangements may be made in advance for security of exhibits, merchandise or articles setup for display or use during a planned event.

There will be an extra charge for any party that lasts beyond midnight (this must be pre-approved) or more than five hours. For our catered events, a four hour bartender service is included in your event fee. For larger parties (usually 70 or more) extra bartenders are required for better service. The fee for extra bartenders is $10 per hour for a minimum of four hours. Cocktail service is also available for $10 per hour per cocktail server for a four-hour minimum.
